报告摘要：

A pooling design is usually represented by a binary matrix with columns indexed with items and rows indexed with pools. A cell (i; j) contains a 1-entry if and only if the ith pool contains the jth item. Pool designs have important applications in biotechnology, network security and chemical leak testing etc.. In this talk, I will introduce the progress in the construction of the pool designs.

王恺顺，北京师范大学数学科学学院教授、院长，主要从事代数组合论研究，公开发表学术论文100篇，主持多项国家自然科学基金，入选2008年度教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，获得2010年度教育部自然科学奖二等奖（排名第三）。
